Soccer season has started. Which means early cold mornings with little to no time to go to the gym or get your long run in. Am I right? Well all you need for your sweaty Saturday workout is 30 minutes for this workout that I promise you will feel the burn! Grab a timer, some water and you are on your way to burn calories, tone your muscles and start your day off right! Remember to keep with the exercise until the timer stops. There are so many different ways to workout from home I thought it would be fun to make a list of the ones I know about. What is great about all of them is they can all be done at home with little to no equipment. Plus most of them have a free month to them so you can use them before you decide to actually buy them.
Beachbody on Demand: This is a great way to get a awesome workouts at home with just a click of a mouse. Some of the workouts are just a sample of the programs that they have. It is a fun way to see what Beachbody has to offer before you commit to a program. You can use them on a tablet or phone to stream them while you are at a gym if you choose.
You can try BeachBody on Demand for 30 days before you are obligated to buy it. After that you can purchase it for 6 months ($59.95) or 12 months. ($99.95) Both of these options end up being under $10 a month so it really is an affordable way to workout from home.
There is some equipment needed for these workouts, but can always modify without or pick a workout that won’t have equipment needed.
Daily Burn: This is also a streaming workout program that can be done at home and it allows you to connect anywhere you go. You can stream tons of different types of workouts from this server. There are beginner workouts, to advanced workouts even pregnancy workouts. This program was awesome because there was so much available. It was easy to navigate through and you could see how long each workout lasted so you could determine how long you wanted to workout for.

YouTube: YouTube has a vast amount of fitness programs that can be your workout at home on there server. Some are fun to do, some are just simply fun to watch! You can find any kind of workout you would like to do. It really is so simple. The only part of this is, not all of the people you watch on YouTube will be certified personal trainers like the other programs. Some of the channels you will see when you search “workout” are going to be Fitness Blender, Pop Sugar, Jillian Michaels, The Rock, and more. I think you could find a little bit of whatever you wanted to on this website.

Tabata under 30
Tabata is a the best way to get your muscles shredded and take a new shape. It helps you burn more calories throughout the day. It’s a great way to help you run faster, and farther, jump higher and overall become a better athlete however you fit that description.
I recommend doing Tabata type workouts at least 2 times a week to get the best results. So start with this one and pick another from the site and you won’t be disappointed!

Take it to the Track
This is a great workout that requires no equipment or timers. It gets your heart rate up and challenges you as an athlete. You do active recovery on the lunges during the end zones and then you get your heart rate right back up! I love track workouts! Oh how the possibilities are endless!
Track workout
This was our track workout today. I was so excited to do it I dreamed about it the night before! It didn’t disappoint. It was tough. Definitely a 3 on my scale of 1-3. It gets your heart rate up fast and keeps it there. Which was good for this chilly morning on the field! I needed an extra jacket in the 48 degree weather plus the canyon wind chill! Already my legs are tired from it today and my body has been extra hungry ! You know it was a good track workout when both of those things happen after! Try this one! Track workout- Sprint Ladders
Oh man oh man oh man oh man! Doing these babies will get you breathing heavy, and spike your heart rate. I love it! We did these 5 times with a fun toning group in between. We did 10 Reverse Lunge Hops on each side, 10 one armed tricep push up on each side and then 10 Mountain climbers. But you could do anything, or nothing at all. It was just a fun way to break up the sprinting and the help us catch our breathe before starting another set of ladders. ~Happy Sweating
